BEFORE THE DAY

BEFORE THE DAY

An intimate vintage print of a seated nude seen from behind, her dark hair gathered loosely as she sits before a window scattered with flecks of soft pink blossom. With confident black lines and a tumble of scribbled hair set against a warm taupe ground, with the pale figure left almost bare so the paper itself gives her form. It has a relaxed, sketchbook feel.

Original lithograph in glazed gold frame.

Signed by unknown artist.
