HAZY SKY

HAZY SKY

A beautifully quiet Swedish mid century landscape, pared back to an almost abstract composition. A wide sky of soft lemon and pale apricot glows above a low line of light, with layers of olive and deep moss hills settling into shadow below. The paint is thin and gently blended, letting the texture of the weave show through, which gives the whole piece a soft, hazy warmth. Calm, minimal and atmospheric.

Signed by artist Alvar Jonson.
