ITALIAN FARMHOUSE

ITALIAN FARMHOUSE

A striking mid-century oil depicting an Italian farmhouse beneath a stand of tall pines. The brushwork is loose and confident, with a low stone wall anchoring the foreground and a sunlit meadow opening out to the right. The palette is fresh and green, lifted by the pale tones of the building and sky.

Signed by Gunnar Rydholm and dated 1975.

Oil on canvas in original frame.

Frame Dimensions: 62 x 72cm
