OLD TOWN

OLD TOWN

An atmospheric mid-century oil of a narrow old-town street at dusk, two street lamps glowing against the deep blues of the buildings. A small group of figures gathers in the lane, loosely worked in confident, expressive strokes. The palette is rich and moody throughout, with the lamplight lifting the warm tones of the walls.

Oil on board in original frame.

Signed by unknown artist, lower right.
