A large bold mid century harbour scene of boats drawn up on the rocks beside a timber boathouse, two figures on the ridge behind. The paint is laid confidently, the forms simplified down to shapes, with the eye led from a small rowing boat in the foreground up the slipway to the open sky. Confident and full of character.
