An atmospheric vintage landscape of a village at dusk, a tall red-brick church tower rising above red-roofed farm buildings and a green meadow. Worked in expressive brushwork, with a moody, streaked sky catching the last warm light of the day. Full of movement and atmosphere, a characterful piece with Swedish origin.

Signed by Thure Holmgren (1898-1963).
